Thanks for looking at my trade page. I have been collecting Baseball cards since I was about 8 years old. I remember the first cards that I would go to the local dime store and spend my hard earned allowance on were 1978 Topps rack packs. I have taken a few breaks from collecting over the years but always seem to come back to the hobby. I mostly enjoy collecting cards earlier than 1985. I am currently working on completing sets from 59, the 60's, 70's and 80's as well as a few more recent ones.
I would like to start collecting Pre War baseball cards but I don't have many yet. For those of you who collect pre war and have any suggestions about the best way to get started, best places to find them etc. I'm open to suggestions.
I am currently a member of Vintage Card Traders, Sports Card Fun and Trading Bases.
My Condition Requirements
I will accept cards of lower condition than what I have listed next to my set lists THAT ARE PRE 1973 (no tears, holes or writing on the front please), as fillers for sets. Of course, cards in better condition are desired. When it comes to cards from the 1950's and older I would rather have a poor condition card than no card, so just let me know what you have to offer. I only ask that you inform me of the lower grade cards and trade accordingly. If it's an upgrade card then I want to trade for cards that are in the condition I have listed. If it's a card 1980 or newer I am looking for Nrmt or better.

My wife Kim and I at the Tigers game Friday 8-20-10
Sure wish the Tigers could have whipped the Yankees like they did the Indians!
